Investors left stock markets in the U.S. with 400 billion dollars from late 2008. Since the cliff was solved record amount of money has moved in to mutual funds from bonds, driving the current upsurge.

Bond selling push the price down but the rates up. When rates go up bank shares go up and buyers jump in not to miss the train. Fundamental experts differ in opinion now about how high the stock market indexes will go. Many believe in a correction before further upside with eventual new highs will come. European and US big problems during 2012 are gone according to many. Money has flooded in to the markets with 7 billions in the US since Jan 2 which is a record since 2001.

The technical picture shows the indexes in a strong uptrend and important R levels have been taken out. The next week I think the bars will again test the new R lines and on Thursday is the last trading day for the month. For the DOW all time high monthly close was at 13.921 Oct 2007 - just 28 points above this weeks close. The intraday high was 14.193.5. A very interesting week starts Monday.
