All indexes daily trend are up. The daily moves are still sideways in choppy trading. The good fundamentals have been seen regarding company results. I give a new all time high for DOW and SP500 50 percent chance. Have now started to pick short positions in SP500 for long term investment. Now short at 689.47. No stops or limits. 10 yr yield is above 2.50 percent, one percent more than in Germany. Despite that fact dollar is being sold. Do not think the rates situation makes US stock players happy. Have a feeling that trend will continue sideways for Friday and eventually Monday. If prices are as now on Tuesday downside will increase from 50 to 60 percent. Yes it cost money to short an uptrend if you are wrong. If you are right it could be the investment of your life. If a May 22 drop comes you have managed. When the robots feel the smell of long downside move they act. To have a chance you must go short before they do.This is my personal philosophy since 1983.
