NAS month from 1998. As you see NAS top came 2000 and 2007 top was far below other indexes. The current channel which is still wave one, after a double bottom 2002 and 2009, have a long term rising trend on the monthly chart.

A cup has formed with a rising 8 MA close below. But the gap below is irritating and should be closed before further advancement but it can also jump start a new leg on upside.
